Congratulations to Our 2024 Microgrant Winners!

Let’s raise a glass (of juice, of course) to celebrate some truly incredible educators! This year, our Well Beyond the Bottle Microgrant spotlighted individuals who pour their hearts and souls into shaping the next generation. And today, we’re thrilled to announce our 2024 winners who are going above and BEYOND for their students!

Meet Our Winners:

Dr. Shanika Thomas – School Social Worker (The Classroom Impact Winner)
Dr. Thomas is the Social Worker at Wesley International Academy charter school in Atlanta, Georgia. With 9 years of experience as a social worker, she shares, "I want to break the barriers hindering students' overall success—academically, socially, and through wellness. By doing so, students will achieve better in school."

Diane Chianis – Elementary Art Teacher (The Classroom Impact Winner)
Diane is the Art Teacher at Homer Brink Elementary School in Endwell, New York. With 32 years of teaching under her belt, Mrs. Chianis shares, "I hope my impact as a teacher will help my students to be kind to one another, to be confident, and to know that they are always loved!"

Sarah Sherman – 7th Grade English Teacher (The Classroom Impact Winner)
Sarah is a 7th Grade English Teacher at Jennie F. Snapp Middle School in Endicott, New York. Now in her second year of teaching, Mrs. Sherman shares, "I hope my impact as a teacher inspires kids to dig deep and discover what they want to give back to the world!"

Dierdra Arnold – Special Education Teacher (The Lunch Card Winner)
Dierdra is a Special Education Teacher at Talley Street Elementary in Decatur, Georgia. Mrs. Arnold shares how she promotes healthy eating at home and in school lunches: "We began making school lunches with more fruit! We encourage trying new foods and include fruit and vegetables with every meal!"
