Resources for Residents Impacted by Palisades and Eaton Wildfires

Wildfires have once again devastated our communities in California, and the Palisades and Eaton Fire is a stark reminder of how unpredictable and challenging these events can be. At 1987 Juices, we are committed to supporting our community during these trying times. Below is a comprehensive list of resources to assist residents impacted by the wildfires, including transportation options, housing assistance, food, shelter, and ways to contribute or volunteer.


Transportation Assistance

  • Lyft: Use code CAFIRERELIEF25 for 2 rides up to $25 each (valid for 2,000 riders through 1/15 at 11:59 PM).

  • Uber: Apply promo code WILDFIRE25 for 2 free rides (up to $40 each) to/from active shelters.

  • Metro: Fare collection is suspended systemwide for public transportation during the emergency.


Temporary Housing

  • Airbnb: In partnership with 211 LA, Airbnb is offering free temporary housing for displaced residents. Impacted residents can request assistance for temporary housing support from Airbnb.org by filling out this intake form with 211 LA. Spaces are limited.

  • Zalawyers: Hotel rooms in Sherman Oaks & Montebello—DM @ginazapanta_ or @zalawyers on Instagram.


Food and Essential Items

  • Zalawyers: Free care packages on 1/11/25 from 12 PM – 2 PM (Westridge School Parking Lot, 355 W State St., Pasadena, CA).

  • Shake Shack: Free Shackburgers for evacuees at any location through Sunday.

  • Sizzler: Free meals for evacuees and first responders at select locations through 1/12/25 (Van Nuys, Los Feliz, Palmdale, and Fox Hills).

  • Birrieria San Marcos: Van Nuys, North Hills. Free meals for those displaced by the fires. Order via Instagram DM @birrieriasanmarcos.
  • Fat Sal's: Hollywood, Westwood, Encino, Venice, Culver City. Free meals for first responders. Open as a safe space to rest, charge phones, and have a meal.
  • Lorenzo California: Beverly Hills. Free food for first responders and TV news crews. DM @lorenzolacalifornia on Instagram.
  • Madre: Torrance, Culver City, West Hollywood, Santa Clarita. Free meals for first responders through the end of January.
  • Moo's Craft Barbecue:  Lincoln Heights Free sandwiches for first responders. Open 12-7pm to offer a safe space, wifi, and charging.
  • Sunday Gravy:  Inglewood. Free meals to first responders and those displaced. Also accepting monetary donations to cover free meals.
  • Zira Uzbek Kitchen: Fairfax. Free meals for first responders including delivery. Order via Instagram DM @zirauzbek or call the restaurant.

Evacuation Shelters

  • Northridge Park: 10120 Reseda Blvd., Northridge, CA 91324.

  • El Camino Real Charter High School: 5440 Valley Circle Blvd., Woodland Hills, CA.

  • Westwood Recreation Center: 1350 Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA.

  • All Saints Church: 132 N Euclid Ave., Pasadena, CA.

  • Pasadena Civic Center: 300 East Green St., Pasadena, CA (Pet food pantry available).


Evacuation Shelters for Pets and Livestock

  • Small Animals:

    • Agoura Animal Care Center, Baldwin Park Animal Care Center, Carson Animal Care Center, Downey Animal Care Center, Lancaster Animal Care Center, and Palmdale Animal Care Center.

  • Large Animals:

    • Pomona Fairplex, Industry Hills Expo, Castaic Animal Care Center, and the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.


Facilities and Amenities

  • Planet Fitness: Free access to showers, Wi-Fi, and charging stations at all local locations.


Donation Drop-Off Locations

  • Donation for Dena: 1/11/25 Open 12PM – 5PM (3707 W. Jefferson Blvd., LA, CA).

  • Hand Brewed Beer: Open 10AM – 10PM (9771 Variel Ave., Chatsworth, CA).

  • Art Supplies Collected for LA Youth: 1/11/25 - 1/12/25 Open 12PM - 7PM (Superchief Gallery LA 1965 S. LA, CA)
